Ibn Abbas(RA) wrote this: "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (and the Seal of the Prophets) with him Allah has sealed the advent of prophets, such that there is no prophet after him; (and Allah is Aware of all things) of your words and works" in his tafsir. For all Muslims, Sunni, Shia's, Ismaelis, Qadiyani's all except the 7 authentic Qir'ats of the Qur'an. From those 7 Qir'ats, only one uses Khataam, that is the Hafs Qir'aat. The other 6 Qira'ats, all use the word KhatIm. Meaning there is no question about the finality. The hadith, you used to explain your point, are not only wrong, with extreme Taw'il, but they are just two hadith. What about the hadith of the building?
